1. Website information
General guides and educational content help explain solar and backup power products. They do not replace a site assessment, system design or advice from an appropriately qualified professional.
Product descriptions and specifications describe the item offered for sale. This disclaimer does not excuse inaccurate or misleading listings.
2. Product specifications and compatibility
Specifications, included components and compatibility vary between products and models. Check the particular listing and manufacturer documentation before purchasing.
Do not assume that an inverter, battery, solar panel or accessory is compatible with another item merely because both appear on our website. Contact us if information needed to assess compatibility is missing or unclear.
3. Images and included items
Category banners and decorative images may illustrate a product category rather than a particular model.
Product listing images should accurately represent the product offered. Installation examples may show additional equipment; the listing must clearly identify which components are included and which are optional or sold separately.
4. Installation and safe use
Electrical, plumbing and structural work should be carried out by appropriately qualified persons where required.
Follow the manufacturer’s installation, operating and maintenance instructions, along with applicable safety requirements.
Buying equipment does not automatically include installation, commissioning, permits or certificates. Any included services must be expressly identified in the product listing or agreed quotation.
5. Performance and savings
Actual solar generation, battery runtime and energy savings depend on factors such as sunlight, shading, temperature, connected loads, system configuration and usage.
Rated specifications describe performance under the stated conditions. They are not a promise of identical results in every installation.
Any estimate should identify its assumptions. This does not override an express product specification, warranty or legally enforceable undertaking.
6. Manufacturer brands and warranties
Manufacturer names identify relevant products. Their appearance does not, by itself, imply that Solarised Energy is an authorised dealer, accredited installer or official partner.
Manufacturer warranty terms vary by product. Any stated warranty must be supported by the applicable terms and does not replace statutory consumer rights.
7. Errors and corrections
If you notice conflicting specifications, unclear information or a possible pricing error, email info@solarisedenergy.co.za so we can investigate.
Corrections will be handled in accordance with applicable law. Updating a page does not retrospectively remove rights arising from an existing purchase.
8. Consumer rights
Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African law.
It does not waive rights concerning defective or unsafe goods, misleading representations or liability imposed by the Consumer Protection Act. gov.za
